  • FTU reel repair dept

Once again I head to FTU to pic up a few parts to repair one of my buds reels. And once again they suck ping pong balls. Gave me the wrong part wouldnt print out the schematic so I could give them the P/N. They are the reason I work on reels myself. Oh BTW the reel was a freshly returned reel from Shimano in CA. One of the only ones returned yet!!They kinda suck at it too!! Go figure. FTU is as useful as a Chocolate Fireguard when it comes to reel service center. Go suck it!!! Last time I picked up a reel for servicing it sucked worse than before I took it in. Please dont bother to comment with some greatful wisdom on what to do I have already figured that out. Only comment if you can pile on the incompetence train. If you have had good experience with them then bless your lucky charms they are magically delicious!!!!

On a positive note, your truck was still in the parking lot when you left with the worthless reel.

The Reel Inn in Cove is a good place right next to the launch I use almost every weekend in Wallisville.

Take em some "Ike" reels that are totally froze up, rusted and corroded and give them the name "Harry Reid" and use a fantasy sexline line phone number. Tell them you don't care how much it costs to repair/fix it since they were a gift of gratitude for working at A.C.O.R.N. and that you may even run for POTUS in 2016.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Terry in the "rod building" department is a he11 of a guy. When walking up and down the isles I get asked if I need help every 2 minutes (I must just have that look about me).
As for the counter, that's another story. Whether its the antiquated checkout system or the look of disgust and impending doom I get from the guys stringing reels (again I must just have that look about me), I tend to just stick with Terry.
Hopefully, in the near future (year or two), you guys can come buy your stuff from me @ "SHOAL PATROL - Custom Rods & Tackle" (in Kemah....I think). The complimentary keg will always be taped & cold!
