Warden Francis is assigned to Chambers County and with Chambers, Galveston and Harris Counties bordering the Galveston Bay Complex they may overlap and with hunting season closed and fishing picking up they may have been helping out down here. There are only 4 Wardens assigned to Chambers County.

I had one of the most pleasant stops ever a few weeks back. had seen GW in ICW with a boat pulled over, then he came across Jones and saw me fishing. He eased up, asked about fishing, asked if we had life jackets for everyone, then said have a great day. not the typical stop, but much appreciated while trying to catch fish with customers in the boat.
