Ya know, Governor Perry is taking a rasher of **** because he's got to cut the budget to the bone, which will result in hundreds of thousands of more welfare queens in Texas while saying "jobs jobs jobs!" Well he got a face full of it from his own Legislative Budget Board. Hey go back and look at the presentation from the richie boy economist - Texas has gone from good to heck on Perry's watch.

Obama? He will end up being a rather "interesting" page in the history books. The GOP just has to find a good candidate to run against him and not some space alien like McCain or some air-head bimbo like Palin.

Perry is suffering economic hardships which Obama has placed at his door and doing much better than the numbnut that ran against him-we need leadership that can strangle budgets and squeeze the crap out of them-I deal with that each and every day-you probably would not like what I would propose for budget cutting-I would drastically cut school budgets-waste is at the higher levels of Administration and not due to Teacher pay-it is the bullchit like "huggy feely mtgs at resorts", poor management of funds/expenses and failure to supply only what is needed-we don't need "pretty" schools-they are schools, not memorials of architecture, we don't need gold plated crap, just basics-do you think a 10 y.o. kid gives a damn what the bldg looks like or how pretty chit is? -hell no. Waste is everywhere-cut the farging gummint's waste and thereby save TRILLIONS alone-Congress is a waste of money-all the self-serving crap they have is bull. Free everything at OUR expense-if I lived like they do or performed at my company the way they do, I would go under in 3 months. I watch all my spending and only buy what is absolutely needed, question invoices and negotiate the best deal-they do not and never will unless they are run out of office, but those fockers make their own GD rules and we can't control them anymore-even our votes are worthless since the same type scum are running and they aint about to face reality checks-we need 6 month recall rights against every focking azzhole in gummint and cut all gummint welfare/ACORN type organizations off-farge PBS and AFDC-let em starve to death for all I care-good riddance-plus resolves the gene pool issues.

A Prescription for Economic Calamity
Dear Friend,

A year ago today, President Obama’s health care bill became law. Upon signing the bill, the President claimed his signature initiative legislation would “lower costs for families and for businesses and for the federal government.” He also stated that it would help “[reduce] our deficit” and that “It is paid for” and “fiscally responsible.” One year later, we have seen just the opposite. The President’s bill has increased costs for families and businesses, increased the deficit and increased government control over our health care options.

Increased Costs for Families and Businesses:

Unfortunately, families are bearing the brunt of increased health care costs from the President’s plan. The bill is full of costly mandates on insurance companies which inevitably raises the price of insurance for families in the form of higher premiums. According to the Wall Street Journal, BlueCross BlueShield and Celtic Insurance Company have attributed rate increases directly to the President’s plan.

Businesses are also burdened with new mandates including the $2,000 per employee tax on businesses with more than 50 employees that fail to provide health insurance. Small businesses that cannot afford to provide health coverage nor absorb the tax are likely to stop hiring. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) recently noted, “Those penalties, whose amounts are based on the number of full-time workers in the firm, will, over time, generally be passed on to workers through reductions in wages or other forms of compensation.” A hiring freeze is anathema to a struggling economy.

Increased the Deficit and Government Control:

The CBO also noted in its latest estimates that the cost of the President’s health care plan has already increased by $500 billion. So, in just one year, the overall cost of this massive new entitlement has increased from a staggering $938 billion price tag to $1.445 trillion. (SOURCE: Energy & Commerce Committee) Only in its infancy, this bill has added over 6,500 pages of regulations to the Federal Register that the bureaucracy is struggling to implement. In just one year, the Obama Administration has issued over 1,000 waivers to exempt entities from complying with its own law. If nothing else, these waivers are a tacit admission that the law is unworkable and needs to be repealed.

I have proposed lowering health care costs by making insurance tax deductible, portable and available across state lines. We have proposed rooting out fraud and protecting doctors from frivolous lawsuits, which can all be done without bankrupting America in the process. Creating a new trillion dollar entitlement program when we are facing record debt and deficits is a prescription for economic calamity.

Been rough, thinking about working for some company but heck, they're laying off wicked bad.
