Do any of y'all pattern fish?

I always enjoy taking something that works in one spot and trying to duplicate the same pattern elswhere in the bay.

What patterns have y'all been fishing recently? I dont really care about specific spots, just the patern, depth, bottom, clarity, type of lures used, etc.

I want to know what others are doing and go out and see if it works for me.

    Thanks in advance!

Here is the pattern I have been on if anyone wants to know: at low tide, muddy guts that are surrounded by shell. The guts are 2-4' deep. Drag any soft plastic down the edge from top to bottom. Never lose contact with the bottom. Tide must be comming back in, or at least moving. I have been killing the reds. We have been on this pattern for over a month now. I did not fish last week so this is 2 week old info.

Sure do, here's my pattern that works 12 months out of the year with a slack tide, moving tide, tsunami, or whatever.

I ease on down to the causeway, watch the cluster at the boat ramp in the morning, then i go to the Valero and ice down a case of Old English. I swing by the bait camp and pick up a pound of fresh dead shrimp and half pound of frozen squid. I ease on down the bank, set down the multi colored lawn chair, and crack open the first OE. I set out my 10 surf rods in random order...some straight out, some to the left, some to the right, some crossing lines...however i'm feeling and depending on how many sips of OE i've had. I can almost guarantee with 100% certanty that i fill the box up with hardheads, stingrays, croaker, whiting, dogfish, black drum, and sharks.

Hope this little tip helps somebody out this weekend.

I cast my cork, sip my beer and take another sip/guzzle of beer, then open a new beer-oh, and when my cork goes under, I rip the lips off the fish that hits it. I find this pattern quite relaxing and enjoyable-plus it works most anywhere I fish. Funny thing is, this is my pattern!!

He's been in Arkansas-what do ya expect-prolly too close to Toad Suck AR. Toothless "babes" and about all there is to do is insult families but generally most in a town have the same Dad, Brother and Uncle, so it gets confusing whether to call yer Dad "Brother", "Uncle" or "Father".

He is just blowing off steam for not being able to come down and fish as much. Seriously, the pattern I use is looking at tides, wind moon phases. Sometimes though, I just get out there to relax and don't care about getting a bit.

LOL. My pattern is that after it rains, I stay about 100 yds away from a mouth of a river or source for freshwater. This allows for the new influx of freshwater to properly mix with the saltwater. While it is hit and miss, I usually catch fish. Also, I do a triple twitch when using soft plastics in order to find the water column the fish are in.

Na, no bad mode for me.

Don't make us Aggies look bad either. There are a few in house here.

There wasn't much to do in SK or AR except kill stuff and drink. I'm ready for the salt. Maybe after i get out of the water from my first fishing expedition of the year, my humor won't be so sarcastic.

I would say it has something to do with their "higher education", but explorer went to my alma mater(best school in the history of ever), and i believe that JT went to that other school in Austin. Either that or he is the most diehard t-shirt fan i've ever seen.
