    I remember afe Ike the sentiment online was that Galvestion did not like the fisherman there. After allowed the pier to be rebuilt, it appears as they don't mind the fisherman at all. I am all for revenue comming in to Galveston, $25 is not that bad. Really how many times does the average Joe pay $25 to park a 1/4 mile from the Stadium to attend a game?

    On a side note, there is free parking when you go to the Khema boardwalk, they better pass this before the Flagship boardwalk or whatever thats called is constructed so people don't complain about the parking fees beinf implemented after the fact.

    I think it's a good idea too, though it will push visitors further to the west, off the seawall.

    I think this is a great idea if they can get annual passes etc. I have heard talk of $25 for residents & non-resident passes. Very affordable also keeps money flowing back into Galveston for future redevelopment. I don't see a problem with it considering fishing is the #1 hobby for people on the island so to speak...
