Finally get a chance to come down to the island this weekend. What has the water temp been in the south side coves and the area in general? Thanks...

ive been hearing the upper 40s.it may creep into the low 50s by the weekend

I went out this morning and it was 57. Not a freaking piece of bait from the south shoreline all the way to Confederates! Should warm up nicely the next few days, so this weekend should be a better time to fish then today. Bad part is, the full moon is Friday

Picked up a couple trout at confederate yesterday, my temp gauge said 51. It was a bit breezy, water was super low but started coming in late afternoon.
