Awesome!
That jetski is some crazy stuff...I watched 4 guys dump a mini-van at Fatboys last year. They were launching a Baystealth 1880 and they forgot to release the bow strap. The guy fired up the motor and kept slamming it into reverse as the van slowly started sinking. It was crazy and one of the guys jumped from the pier and completely over the boat into the water. He went under a few times trying to unhook the boat, but he couldn't get it. His other buddy yelled to, "just stand up" and he walked right to the hook and released it. They pulled the van and trailer out and it was draining when we left the ramp. Crazy! I ran out of chips and beer watching that mess and it was way better than what I just described.....
I've backed in and forgot to install the plugs a few times, but have been fortunate to remember and pull forward before launching. Like they say, sheet happens right? LOL

Great story Randy! I haven't witnessed anything that exciting, but i am still young so there is still a chance. My best one is when I tried to launch once with the straps still on the transom. Scotty was holding a rope on the dock, and we had no idea why the dang boat was stuck on the trailer. The fella next to me was nice enough to point out the problem, and probably got a good laugh out of it later.Scott

First time I met Poon Chaser, my Dad & I were launching the Robalo. I thought he removed the stern straps so I unhook the bow and he should be able to reverse off he's sitting there really working engine and I tell him to stop, straps still hooked up lol. Funny stuff when you get in a hurry. PITA was that we broke the strap when we put her on the trailer & had not installed the new one yet so had to use a knife, tie knots etc lol
I absolutely despise the jerks that pull up and back halfway down blocking the ramp then start loading all their junk! Especially, when you took the time to get fully loaded & ready to launch before making your way to the ramp or getting "in line"We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!
