Been checking every so often and it just started snowing lightly here in Missouri City.

No snow in Houston just ice on the palms & on the grass... Streets are wet but temps look above freezing because puddles and ditches are not frozen

Left Galveston at 7 AM and didnt get to work TC Jester x 610 til..... 1030!!!!

The roads were fine, its the bridges. I guess I never payed attention to how many there are. Well, after having to slow down to 20mph to cross every bridge on the 45 till work, I can tell you, there are A LOT of em'

The roads are wet but when you look down the highway you can see perfect squares of white that are 2-3in of solid ice on EVERY bridge.

HFD had random bridges closed going N 45 and diverted traffic to offramps that still had their traffic lights metered and not blinking red. Example... FD put their truck perpendicular and closed the bridge right after freindswood exit.. So then there is a 2 mile long line in the right hand lane waiting to exit, then you have people on the feeder, people with trucks crossing the grass to the feeder, two wide open lanes to the left of people bypassing the 2 mi long line and all of this feeding into a one lane exit with a metered light. I was stuck in the same spot and took me 1hr to go 2 miles. No joke.

FINALLY... the PD came from the underpass and turned the traffic lights to blinking red and traffic finally started moving.

Woke up this morning and could not even let the dog out. Being that we are 20ft. above ground in Terramar, we have a lot of decking and it was iced over. Finally got some hot water and started working on it, because our dog was just sitting by the back door.

I live here because it is supposed to warmer, I don't like this crap. Bring on spring and ladies in bikinis
