Facebook Hacking

If you are a friend on my facebook page, don't open any message with a link from me. My account got hacked over the weekend and it's sending a stupid message out with a virus.

You can contact FB and should be able to reset your PW etc and get your access back.

I got the account secured, I think. New passwords and such. Hopefully that cures the problem. I got a few messages this morning that people had gotten a message with a link from me. I don't send anyone anything with a link, other than an email with a link to my site.

you got that because you clicked on a link to a virus while you were on facebook. alot of the times its something like "look at this crazy new picture of me" or "facebook status makes man kill himself" or something ridiculous like that.

It kept popping up like you wanted to chat and a link to giving away free Iphones. I learned along time ago about opening up thing's like that. Once you open it it want let you out.

Seems like the messages get sent with a link, as if there is a picture there. I'm not one for sending chain mails, or forwards, or links. In my experience, that's where most viruses are passed around.

Chris, I guess you missed the email that had the video of all the big trout spots that I fish around the bay. Oh well, I won't be letting that one slip out again for a long time. Haha.

oddly enuf, my yahoo acct. got spammed last nite and sent out links to everybody in my email for viagra and steel libido or something like that. how funny.
