Yea, I didn't realize how much water had dropped out until I looked at the bank. Crazy!

It's them neap tides I tell ya. Low tide has been early so you can fish later in the day - at least down here by ole Mexico.

Tide was the lowest I have ever seen it. Successfully launched at Fatboys at 5:30 AM for the trout tourney and could not move 10 feet beyond the boat ramp. Tried to move the boat with the trolling motor and the trolling motor prop fell off. Pulled the boat back to the launch with ropes and got back on the trailer. Launched on the other side of the causeway and lower unit hit something solid when sliding off the trailer. Don't launch on the side closest to the building there (at least on an extreme low tide). Idled away from the ramp and could not get on plane, even in slightly deeper water. Limped-in, expecting a spun prop and found nylon material wrapped around the engine prop. Cut the nylon out and finally got underway around 6:30AM. Fished all day, got two bites for around 5 lbs of live trout (released) and decided not to embarass ourselves at the weigh-in.

Nothing embarrassing about showing up at the weigh-in we gave out around 25 door prizes we knew it was a tough day and let winners take the money and did door prizes with the rest of the goodies

Deep water ramps are better in the subdivisions if you can find a good ramp, there's a ramp in Offat's that I use etc.
