Troy is friends with some of the guys that run the mud boats over in LA, he was on a radio show for another site I am on for my mud motor. Very cool guy funny to hear his take on the 1st season and how Discovery went about finding him, shooting the season etc.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!Comment

I think its funny that when the show first aired, there is a disclaimer saying something like "the views on this show do not reflect the views of the history channel..." blah blah blah (same disclaimer was on deadliest catch when it first aired) and once it is popular, the disclaimer goes away.
Network wussies don't stand behind their programming until it gets good ratings and only then parade the show and run ads all day for the next new episode. When Swamp People started, it was on at like 10PM on Sunday, now its on Thursday night prime time.Comment

The editing is horrible first they are in the cypress swamp. Then the when they start messing with the gator it shows them in the marsh or on the river.
Other than that its entertaining. I know when we gator hunt I have yet to have one go ballistic like in the show.Comment

It was there first year but I catch things like that all the time especially in trucks, Discovery channel has bad detail editing when it comes to that stuff... I have seen on Howe & Howe Tech they jump into a Dually and then all the sudden its a 1 ton fake diesel lolWe are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!Comment
