We had a member, wait... let me clarify that, we had a USER with only 5 posts go off on a thread this morning. It rubbed some members the wrong way and I was alerted. Many of y'all saw the posts, I have since deleted them only out of respect for the creator of the thread who was merely wanting to share his report from Chocolate Bayou.
This site can be a wealth of knowledge if we let it. It was created for just that reason to provide us, the angler, the added knowledge before getting out on the water, knowing the conditions and making educated choices on where to target for that day or if it is even safe to do so.
The person I speak of is no longer with us and that is all that will be said. I tried to be nice but some just want to push their luck. All of his five posts had no merit to them and it was only to ruffle the feathers of the members, he is not a user that will be missed.
This site is all about our members, those that share and participate in a respectful manner, those who provide information. Members who introduce new anglers or young ones to the sport that we so love insuring that future generations experience the same thrills that we find each time we feel a tap on the line, or see that red surface as it takes your fly.
I look forward to seeing you all at the tournament weigh-in this weekend or any of our events coming up this year. We have plenty to choose from and we welcome everyone.
Tight Lines to all,
Coe
