Black Drum Tournament

For the next month or so this thread will serve as the place where I will upload the photos and post what color week it is as well as the leader boards. You can register for the tournament at anytime but I must confirm your payment before you submit a photo. Please submit all photos to:

We will review the photo before posting to make sure everything is within the guidelines set out by the Tournament Rules.

Week 1: Color = RED

You must have a picture of your fish on a ruler with an object that fits in the picture that has A LOT of red in for Week 1 (Saturday February 28 thru Friday March 6).

Please remember you must either have a TIME / DATE Stamp on your photo you submit or the weekly color in the photo with fish and ruler...

Also, the "Color of the Week" starts new every Saturday. Thus one week would be from Saturday to Friday.

I forgot to post the new color of the week, we'll extend Blue entries until today starting tomorrow Color will switch to BLACK!

The Tournament has come to a hault however many anglers are still reporting good drum being caught. As far as the Tournament goes here are the final results please check carefully I'm human and there might be errors.

1st - 3rd will be awarded.

Payout is as follows:

1st: $132.00
2nd: $66.00
3rd: $22.00

We had 11 entries this year which is a good increase from years before. I think the Tournament went fairly well there were some days that we were unable to get out. Hopefully we'll get twice as many next year I know a good 3-4 guys didn't have boats because of Ike that wanted to fish it.

If you'd like to sign up for the Running of the Bulls Tournament let me know we usually target them and will do a CPR again later this year.

If you wish to protest or if I have somehow missed your entry when you e-mailed it to me please post up!! If I hear no objections I will assume everything is okay and cut the checks and hand out to the winners Friday at the Club Meeting.

I am opening this thread for discussion, please congratulate the winners.

Coe don't wan't to make a big deal of it but I e-maild some pics week before last of a 40 1/2 inch drum. If there was something wrong with them could you PM me and let me know so I know for next time.

Send them to me again! This will change things around I must have never received them and as long as everything checks out. You'll be up there with the other guys. Sorry. I thought I grabbed them all but as I said I might have missed one.
