How much money (pig, pen, feeder, pig chow, bedding, etc.) do you estimate you've spent or will spend. It sounds like the $250 minimum may not cover all of that. If a group buy is in the offing, it'll help us determine how many Robalos we need. I'll stand alongside Robalo and Coe if the pig is named on the white board.

Sorry I haven't been around as much since I got him but he's a handful plus school. In a few weeks i'll have so much extra time on my hands it won't be funny.

All I know is we’re a bunch hijacking thread mongers.... all he wanted to do was to see if someone would by HIS FFA pig, and we all had to go jack the thread up ..... We all should be ashamed of ourselves....

Yeah, this whole bit is really confusing to say the least. If it doesn't make school auction the teacher said (she's been completely wrong before so i have no idea) he goes to a tent sale which is like a white board with the students name and pigs weight. If someone walks up to the board and wants to buy the pig the minimum is (as she said) 250$ and the buyer can throw on some money to that (say they add 750) like there's a 10% commission fee taken out of my money. IF the pig doesn't go at that time I believe they send it to slaughter I get 50$ and I have to pay to have it processed. Like I said that's what I took away from it with that teacher. I could be wrong and it wouldn't shock me sadly. I'll check back after I talk to my mom who was in another meeting with the smart ag. teacher.

And this is only IF he doesn't place high enough to be auctioned.

I think JT should buy it, he can call the pig his girlfriend, and it would proably still cost him less than any other girl on the West end ..... or it could be the FWE masscot, and it could trade off time between Coes and Robolo's houses on the island .....

Need to buy the pig and let it go near the pass....so we can collect the $1K from JT when he said there are no pigs at the pass...he could even hunt it down for his freezer. Win/Win
