Just wanted to say hello. I have a few friends on the site and they recommended I join. I grew up in Katy, and I currently live in Houston.
As a kid I always fished the surf at Bermuda. As soon as we could drive, we would wade San Louis Point. Nothing like leavin Katy at 5am, getting a few donuts from Shipleys, and havin a line in the water as the sun came up.
I am fortunate to have a place on Pirates Bay, and we just recently replaced the boat that Ike took. I try and get down a couple of times a month. We have been doing a lot of fishing off the dock the past year and a half(light fishin at night sure is nice), and I am ready to get out on the water.
So hello to all, good luck this summer, and lets hope the wind doesnt change and bring any oil from the gulf our way!
