Welcome aboard! You'll find lots of good info as well as good advice from many of the mebers here. In my short time reading and posting I've learned alot.

we have plenty of anglers on here that Kayak religiously and would be more than happy to take you or meet up and fish some areas... If nobody responds send me a PM we'll go. TKF is a great site for detailed Kayak fishing & questions. That's not to say you can't get them answered here as many members of TKF found there way here because they fish WEST BAY... We concentrate our efforts to the Galveston Bay complex, we welcome you & any reports and let us know how we can help.

I appreciate all the input and how helpful everyone is. I have realy been wanting to get into saltwater fishing but I dont realy know any good spots, I know theres a lot by kemah and clear lake but I dont know exactly where. Im also looking to buy a kayak soon so if you have one for sale or know of someone for sale for cheao let me know because I need one.
I went to today by kemah and just waded in off todville to try an catch something but I didnt catch anything but a slip in the water ruining my phone. Awesome huh?
Anyway thanks for the welcome, look forward to hopefully getting to know some of you and fishing with ya.
Any info on spots, techniques or anything is greatly appreciated by me.
                    Thanks, Devon.

Also I cant afford a fancy kayak like an ocean kayak so im leaning toward getting a pelican castaway 100 or 116, any thoughts on this? Is Pelican a trustworthy brand? I like their prices and the kayaks look good.

i have a pelican and its ok. not great but gets me there and back. i dont fish out of a kayak much i just get there and wade. depending on the kind of fishing you do its a good cheap buy. i would get a sit on top expecially for wading
