Hey everybody, I signed up a while back and am finally getting around to introduce my self. I grew up in La Porte so mostly fished East bay and Trinity. I've always wanted to learn west Bay. I just moved to Friendswood so I figure now is as good of time as any to learn and this is the place to meet the people to teach me. I love to wade fish and prefer chasing tails in the shallows. I really want to get a kayak I just don't know anything about em.....I also love to barbeque and Im really good at drinkin beer.......I wonder if I will fit in around here???

You will fit right in. Welcome! I am really considering selling my Kayak I just bought last year since I now have a boat.

Welcome aboard Troy.....I spend most of my time from mid-spring thru fall chasing tail in west bay skinny water. The yak is way too much trouble. You have to paddle too much and it is hard to fish, paddle and drink beer at the same time!
If you have a boat, why would you want a yak?

Well I guess I should clarify Myself. I don't own a boat myself ,but my two best fishing buds do. So I basically own the fuel bill. I like to tell them I have stock in both of their boats!!!

I live in Friendswood also and fish weekdays. I will be making afternoon trips all summer and sometimes have a hard time finding people to go during the week.
