Just found this site and it seems there are forums for everything these days. I have been fishing the Galveston Bay complex for over 45 years. Everything from East Bay to Trinity, to Bolivar, to Offats to West Bay all the way to Matagora. Done it off piers, the beach, wading, and by boat. I tend to fish Chocolate the most these days because I live in Pearland and am 30 minutes away from Lutes. Was there Saturday and brought home 10 decent sized specs. Threw back a lot of under sized ones. No Reds but 2 buddys limited Friday with 6 from 22' to 25" using live shrimp. I threw nothing but artificial Saturday. Plan on being on the water Friday with some shrimp looking for some reds.
