  • Tropical Storm Ernesto

Look for this one to develop into a tropical depression by Saturday this week. It's way early, but a low over the east coast this weekend might steer it northwest towards the Florida coast.

Update: It has a 70% probability of being a tropical cyclone in a couple days. Expect it to be a tropical storm and about to enter the Gulf around Sunday. Where is goes--- spin the roulette wheel.

It's official he's a tropical storm, but his testosterone is low.
If (if) I were a betting man, I'd say he'll cross the Yucatan and land near the Tex-Mex border.

Uh, oh. The storm is going to be slowing down (on it's westward track) through the weekend. A low, north of it, will pass by it, such that it'll turn north to northwest and enter the Gulf about mid week.

The computer models forecasts are starting to show this trend, this afternoon (Friday).
By Sunday PM or Monday, there should be some good guidance on where it's going to go in the Gulf.
