Too Cool- What is the Chocolate Slam? I lost a snook last month in the Lower Laguna Madre - or else I would've had my grand slam- ended up with one of many texas slams

They are fighters way up there. Heard some (know of some) reports of lots of limits being caught under lights at night in the bayou. So the trout are in there for sure.

We are going to try and make it past the bend where Old Man Clyde and his nephews ask for smokes or hooch before they let you pass. Pretty creepy up there.

I landed a tarpon about 18"long up the bayou in nov. of 08.
