Fished the PMI tournament in Port Mansfield this weekend. Conditions were rough. The wind was howling.

I saw a tail slapping in the water. I never knew trout tailed like reds. I cast a gold DOA shad tail and drug it right in front of her nose and BAM! 30" and 8+ on the Boga.

She never shook her head, she never jumped, just peeled off line. When I finally saw her and tried to land her by hand, I hollered for a net LOL.

LOL. That's why I titled my post Preparation + Opportunity. Prepare your self with the right gun and be ready to shoot when the opportunity presents itself.

I am sure i read that in a book somewhere.
