Think of this as a line graph, on one end is the USA with some social programs which you listed and freedom, Canada & Europe have more social programs and generally control utilities, medical, and some industries with less freedom in Europe, then Russia some freedom, China some freedom , and N. Korea on the far end.

Im still waiting to hear how society has bailed out big Oil. And if income inequality concerns you so much, why don't you take some of those profits in your 401k from Oil stocks you boasted about and give them to the downtrodden and poor? That's what I would do if it concerned me so much.

Since I have little idea what mgstel is trying to communicate, I think I'll get back to the original idea in this thread. "It will never be enough for the grievance industry ". The most recent example is NO mayor Landreau saying the statue of Robert E Lee should come down and Lee circle be renamed. I can see that Mt. Rushmore will have to be destroyed or Washington and Jefferson changed to Bill and Hillary, she already favors George quite a bit. This all reminds me of the Taliban or ISIS blowing up Palmyra.
I just heard that HISD wants to change the names of all the schools named after Civil War hero's.
