I am neither communist or socialistic in my thinking. No, I do not care for or like rich greedy business owners who care less about their employees or the undocumented and exploit both. Always have, always will. The inequality in wages earned in this country are further apart than anytime in history. Our capitalistic society will always be here because of greed over the poor. Businesses are quite profitable when they pay employees less and with no benefits. And that ol crap that" I built this" is just plain wrong. No one gets by in our country without help from someone else. no one.

Employees have a choice-they don't have to work at a place if they don't like it. It is not slavery or indentured servitude. It is called "MARKET PLACE". Your comments are socialistic and you don't see that-sorry. I had a company car back in the 80's but the Dems thru the IRS took it away-the company did not have to supply a car, but it certainly made my choice easy when I was searching for employment. Why do you think most companies provide benefits if they hate their employees so much? Sorry that you apparently worked in one company, paying a part of your salary to some Union Stooges, doing one tedious and repetitive task all your career, but that was YOUR CHOICE!! No one forced you to work for a "greedy owner" but YOU, so take your biased and socialistic rants and try to understand that your thoughts regarding corporations are incorrect-most companies want their employees to be productive and happy, not turning over to another job because someone else gave better bennies, hours or treated them better. Hell, Shell even has a LGBT "Club" for their gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees-why/ So they keep some employees they find productive and prefer they stay. I get free sodas, coffee, breaks, no set number of vacation days, salary increases and bonuses-if not, I'd work somewhere else that did-why? Because I am darn good at my career and companies want me-I learned outside my area of expertise and have knowledge beyond what just what is defined as my type of job/career. I learned many years ago-hard work pays off. Sadly, many of the folks that vote for Obama and the Dems do so for "free sheet" and are lazy, teats on a boar and have NO work ethic-probably due to their parenting and Unions (limited on learning beyond your job scope-I've experienced that firsthand when I worked in a Union-I was discouraged and even threatened if I did anything beyond what my job was, so I was not allowed to try to learn any skill beyond what my union defined job was, which is sad).

2 of my 3 brothers "built" their companies and made millions and their employees were damn glad because they did well also. Companies reward good work. Unions do not and never will-you are just another widget when a union employee and the company can tell the Steward to add more widgets or take them away-but all widgets get the same pay, whether productive or not, so that leaves little reason to excel in one's career.

And if you really believe that a company loves you and will bend over backwards for you, you really have been blessed. 1 skill is all a person needs to get good at it. A jack of all trades is someone who cant do anything worthwhile at any thing. We are all widgets in some form or fashion. And you hit the nail on the head when you said a company can add or take away widgets whenever they please. Texas is a right to fire state(or work) and does not have to give any reason for doing so. Now the big word is "furlough" instead of laid off or fired. That's what they are calling the 800K gov workers who are not getting paid now from lack of concern from the minority GOP members in the house. Cant wait for 2014 and 2016.

I'm a jack of all trades-I can do what takes 4 people at a normal company-I do the Land, Legal, Lease records, Division Orders, Regulatory, Administrative and even clean up the kitchen area when needed-why? Because I WANTED to learn and be better at my career than most folks in my career that just glide along waiting for retirement and I've been rewarded for doing so. I could retire at 56, travel and play, but I enjoy my work and will continue doing it until I feel it is time to relax and take it easy; however, I find it quite disturbing that my rights are constantly being attacked by leftist socialists that want to take my hard earned money away and give it to some low-life scumbag or Illegal Alien criminal for some GD vote so they (democrat politician) can be on the take and retire with millions in payola because they were elected by scum and criminals. I hope those politicians choke on their farging lobster and die painfully and slowly.

Politicians are politicians and someone has to step up and do the deed they do. Get active in politics and change what you hate so much. Everyone or ALL Americans have the same right.
