Here is a pic of my wife with her first ever spec caught in the west end of Galveston Bay. We were wading in the bayside just shy of San Louis. That is a 5.5 pound pig. Roughly 28 inch.
Thank yall for the welcome. Yes Sir that was a gray duck arse whoopin to say the least. WE had one bird all morning up until 11:30 AM. Everyone was ready to go and I asked for 5 more minutes. Mainly because I could not believe my honey hole produced only 1 duck. It was like a dern light switch got turned on and they poured in there. Ducks are where and when you find them I guess. We had to be off the WMA at noon so it ws a barrel burner for the next 30 minutes.
