Thanks for the advice yall, but to the thoes who felt the need to show off all the ducks they've killed and give no advice. That comes off kinda dickish

8 posts in and your already calling us names? LOL
Listen when I hunt big water/ back lakes whatever you call them I have close to 80 decoys out. 4-5 active mojos and jerk strings. I can kill ducks in public no problem but the hassle is not so much worth it. Spots are hard to come by most people scout and if your building a blind it's not worth it. Birds once they hit the coast have usually seen everything on their migration. Stop using mojos after the split. Use pulsator or jerk rigs instead. Use #2 shot on big ducks and get a choke. A whistle is your friend.

I really appreciate this, i'm only 22 years old and just getting into the duck hunting game, the only reason i took it to that measure is because even at my age i spare no information to people who want to learn and i would sure hope that you older gentlemen would do the same. i understand that this website is about bragging as much as its about giving help to thoes in need. also, when it comes to hunting and fishing in the houston area i know there is a great deal of competition and secrects need to be kept, but everyone has been a beginner before they're a pro, and to become a pro you had a passion and a willingness to absorb any info you were given. Thats the position i'm in right now, I hope this site remains for 50+ years so i can be the old dude that helps out the young kids that have a true passion for the outdoors!
Exactly - got to do the ground work (scouting) and it does happen to all of us sooner or later and sometimes more often then not. It would have been a whole lot better received if you would have started your post without the language you portrayed and the last post you listed. Age has nothing to do with how you present yourself to others and first impression is everything on how you're received.
