Wake up at 3:30 AM, let dogs out jump in car headed to storage unit by 3:50 AM.

At storage unit by 4AM, leave with boat.

Arrive at the launch around 5AM.

30 minutes to load up, launch & get to my spot.

15-30 minutes to set out 6 dozen decoys and get blind prepped.

5-10 minutes of hunting for 4 birds...

20 minutes to pick up decoys

Thus the reason I bring a rod & reel with me during Teal Season.

Got that right! You forgot the flask of whiskey.... and if you have room bring a bad shot so you can shoot more!

I don't allow alcohol on the boat or in the car when I go duck hunting. I had a friend that was drunk. He passed out with a loaded shotgun and it went off in the boat! I felt bad for hitting a drunk man but he deserved it! He almost killed me & my dog. He couldn't figure out why he had a black eye the next day or why all his 20GA ammo was gone. I don't talk to him anymore.

yes, alcoholics shouldnt be with firearms or on a boat, but like i said everyone should know their limit. theres a difference between having a good time in the outdoors with a beverage and acting like a drunk idiot.

it would be cool if girl scout cookies were available during duck season. hot coffee and some thin mints or caramel delights in the blind. yumm!
