  • McMillan Mfg - Bank of America

Received this yesterday in an e-mail. check snopes it's unconfirmed.

From the Owners of McMillan Mfg. in Phoenix, AZ

Interesting.....Bank of America was one of many of the recipients of billions of TARP funds and has not fully repaid them, however, it appears that they were influenced enough to fall in line with the very democratic congress that "bailed" them out. they also reported record earnings at the end of 2011 and also for the 1st quarter of 2012............. go figure.

    IN GOD WE TRUST

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group
International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12
years. Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Marlet Manager, Business
Banking, Global Commercial Banking ( Bank of America ) came to my office.
He scheduled the meeting as an "account analysis" meeting in order to
evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them.

He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5
years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of
accessories. At this point I interrupted him and asked "Can I possibly save
you some time so that you don't waste your breath? What you are going to
tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you
    no longer want my business."

    "That is correct", he says.

I replied "That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We
can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our
business. You won't mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know
that B of A is not firearms industry friendly?"

"You have to do what you must", he said.

"So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that
right?" Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the
meeting was over and there was nothing let for him to say.

I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd
amendment right to keep and bare arms should know when a business does not
support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I
don't agree with a business' political position I can not in good
conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of
America credit cards as payment for our products.

This stuff is VERY convoluted BUT it is also common. We used to bank some of the Bin Laden family...one black sheep in the family and the entire family wealth became untouchable...this MAY not be a political decision...it may be a business decision...another firm I was with was based in SF...ANY company that did not support gay rights was "discouraged" as the backlash from the largest clients of the firm (who strongly supported gay rights) would hurt more than the loss of a smaller company...ugly business but business none the less...

I hate Bank of America!!!!!! Me and the wife where heading out of town to New Orleans for a week for our Anniversary, we had a 18K credit limit with only a couple grand balance on it. My wife called and asked how we get a cash advance on it while we heading out of town, and they wanted to ask all the BS and go over our income and see if anything has changed. My wife told the lady we where heading out of town and didn't want to deal with it right now, and she would call them back later to update our info. I get to Lake Charles and go to fill up our motor home, and go inside after pumpimp 300.00 of fuel into the motor home and the card is declined. So we call and ask what the hell is going on???? They said since we refused to update the info, the suspended the card!!!!. I was like WTF!!!! So I told them we will do it, and turn the card back on, this is the only credit card we brought with us, and now we are 130miles from home. They said ok, but it will be 2-3 weeks before it will be re activated. Talk about a mad MOFO! So I used my debit card to pay for fuel, called Discover and told them the story, and they over nighted us a new card to our RV site the next morning. I called Bank of American the next morning, and balanced transfered there asses. After our vacation was over and back in town, we went and re-finaced our house, and car that was under bank of America to Chase, then I changed our business and personal checking account over to Chase as well. They don't even realize the intrest and fee's they lost by F ing with us. I tell everyone to get the hell away from Bank of America.

I can't help but wonder about the veracity of the McMillan story, but BofA is so amazingly stupid it seems well within the realm of credibility.
