Buddy of mine has a camp house on jacks pass off old river, been scoutin it out last couple of months, last couple of days he's seen a bunch of teal, spoons, and a couple pintails, and a few greenheads, with a few scattered groups of Greta and speckled bellies flying over, startin our big duck season on lake miller hopin there's some flooded timber to work with, DU reports seem to be the same about migrations as to what we are seeing, looks to be a good starter, will post Saturday as soon as we pick up the deeks and head in as to what we saw, hope everybody has a great opener this weekend, be safe y'all, nobody wants to be a dick Cheney this weekend lol whack em and stack em boys

Stop by the Ranger Station on the Wallisville Locks you can get a printout of exactly where the blinds are located. You must not be within 400 yards of a permitted blind.Originally posted by TheRooster View PostHow long ago is that video? And do you know where their blind are located? We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

No complaints from this direction... I personally have never hunted Miller, it's too close to I-10 for me. You have locals that walk in & short shoot your birds. The locks need to be operation, the run is a little far and unless you have a good SD your not getting where you need to be. Also, if you are seriously considering this area be wary of snakes. Cottonmouths have been thick and the hyacinth is nasty in there right now.Originally posted by Barneylicious View PostBeats boom scouting!
Good luck & y'all play nice... Remember first come first serve unless you have a Blind Permit card
