I can't fish with a broken foot so I took the golf cart down before sunrise. Several groups of fishermen up and down and throwing bait & corks. Nobody catching anything. As the sun came up the birds started working and two guys strung a few fish on shrimp. A young guy came down and I remarked that no one was throwing topwaters. He went out with a blk.chrt skitter jr. and started busting some very nice fish. He was using a net or he would have limited out.
Best bite yesterday was 1;00.

I had to come back to this thread cause it made me think of how a young man trying to fish got great advice and help from some ol man in a golf cart with a busted up foot who knows his fishing.

You made that young mans day for sure and if he indeed listened than for a lifetime he wont forget that advice.

The only fish I saw caught yesterday evening was a guy chunkin' a silver spoon.
