  • San Luis Pass Bay side Wading.???

I am planning a trip down to that area this Friday..
Any info on wading that area this time of year.??
This would be the area before you cross over the Bridge to the right...
Have waded there before, can cover alot of water and some grassy shorelines...ect..ect...
I might adjust my location based on any info you guys can provide....maybe Sportsman Rd area instead.??

    Thanks..
    Mario....

I would check water clarity at the pass but you can't go wrong working shorelines and flats along the guts in the Spring.

slp is good this time of year if the water isnt to bad.
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

          x2!

Find those guts, let that lure bounce down into it. Some of us here do really good wading there. I have stuck my truck 2x there so I don't go.

here a tip for ya troutfan...if somebody says there are no fish there it usually means the exact opposite...if the water is in good shape they will be there...

Check out the satellite view using Google maps. Flounders Pounders can be great in that area. Good Luck!
