I hit 7 and 1 pompano on tops and mirrodine. My buddy hit a limit all on mirrodine. Biggest is 24". Water is still sandy green. Seems like wind wants to pick up but still flat. For an hour we were getting them on every single cast. I tried a new rod and I'm paying for it. Little too much backbone. Some good fish out here. One guy using shrimp has about 8 all over 20". He has two trout strung that are both 27 and 28".

he's over the one over 25" limit but dang, that's a nice stringer of fish.

Went back out and managed one more keeper. Bluefish were terrors today. Wind is blowing and making it rough now. Water still has good clarity but if the wind blows like this all day and night it'll be bumpy.

If you can deal with the heat, may be worth a shot. Supposed to be a hard outgoing tide.
