Wind is picking up, still rough and BROWN like the picture above shows. Don't waste your time, even if the wind dies this evening, it won't clean up for 24 hours. This is just my experience.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Due to how its looking currently. I think I will stay around the mainland, I would go to the bayside but the dang tide is so jacked up. Anyone have any suggestions?

          keep an eye upon surf

I walked in behind the pass at 6 and it was screwed up as a can of worms. Low tide, high wind, brown water, no feetch. I bailed on that after an hour.

I moved over to the surf near the water tower. Water was brown but the green seemed to have moved a little closer. I hit the 2nd and 3rd gut and caught 2 dinks on a black SS about 7:45p.

Water still doesn't look good. Green seems to be moving closer but wind ain't helping. Too much west today.

I'm at the Sand Bar now. I'm buying the beer if you come by. I'll be here awhile.

I wish I would have seen this before now. Iamhammer and I fished this evening with his son, he will be posting a report. Water is really off color when we took a cart ride to the beach at 8:30.

                ill do better next time!

My wife bought some art the last time we were in Galveston so I volunteered to go pick it up......which progressed into surf fishing.......which progressed into beer drinking. These things happen.

Happy wife, Happy life I walked to the beach front this AM, it was calmer then expected, but still off color. Wind is real light right now, but I am going to guess it will pick up like yesterday. Either way, I do not plan to hit the surf during a weekend! Tight lines everyone, have a safe weekend.

My son just report the surf on the west end looks pretty good. Understand he will fish in a ditch if it has water. Thats all I got.
