Rain? I love fishing in the rain. Fish go nuts with cloudy skies and rain. Swell is 1.6 ft right now. If its 1.3 or lower in the morning when I wake up I'm going.

I'm going to hit the end of the seawall so we'll have it covered. Good luck, Barham!

This is what the surf looked like for the first 5 days I was in Ft Morgan last week. Each morning was like opening up a birthday present! I am ready to hit the TX surf again, so fingers crossed!Click image for larger version

Ft. Morgan sounds familiar as I spent some childhood in Ft. Gaines on Dauphine Island. Is Ft.Morgan close? I can't remember.

A quick ride on the toll ferry from Dauphin and you at Ft. Morgan. We went and visited Dauphin Island. I wouldn't mind one bit if my kids had more childhood memories from that area.

My dad's parents and three sisters are buried on the island and Bayou la Batre. It is for sure a very nice place.

Really. This summer has been terrible for surf fishing. I'll take one foot swells with green water any day.
