Hey guys. First time poster (don't haze me bro!) gonna be down in Galveston/Texas City memorial day weekend. I'm not familiar at all with the area. Any one mind sharing (with a google map pic preferrably )a couple of places where we can fish without a boat? mostly during the day, but would be awesome if there were any spots open at night we could hit too. Thanks a ton!

Well, there's no telling what'll happen with Isaac in the gulf. This weekend may be great but it could also be pretty stirred up. If it stays flat & green fish the beach. If it's a little rougher I'd recommend the bay side of the island. What kinda boat and where are you staying? Do you baitfish or prefer lures. What do you want to fish for?
