The weird jump in NE winds and the fear of being weeded-out has me thinking I may hit the bay this morning.

I'm driving to our shop in La. this morning. When I crossed the bay at Anahuac, conditions looked great. Somebody is going to whack em in Trinity today.

Water from 61st down to stewart was pretty brown LOTS of seaweed...one dink trout on a silver spoon, alot of bait activity and birds in the areas i fished...started on 39th then worked my way down east to beachtown.

Checked the point could see seaweed in the ship channel but it didnt look too bad, water was sandy green.

Drove from Quintana to 13th Street....just off the West wall the cleaner water jutted in some, but weed on the outgoing was sick. All the way down on the beach you'll have to negotiate the 1-2 ft seaweed bulkhead. Water definitely laid this afternoon from this morning....right Barham?

For sure the only fish able water I seen was at the pass free port side right near the old Pier and all the way to the corner of surf they were elbow to elbow
