Tearing them up hasn't ever been a problem....finding bigger fish is.
Now that is a fact! There are always a lot of fresh stocked bows, but finding a big crusty brown or two is a trick.
Most of my fishing up there has been on the Big Thompson where it feeds into Lake Estes. Though I've done some brookies up in Rocky Mountain National Forest, them little guys are fun.

Last June when I was up there I flyfished three days while it was snowing.....
It was actually pretty dang kewl, like something off one of them fancy TV fishin shows. I really didn't take the cloths necessary for as cold as it was, but the fish were bitin and that kept me pretty busy and warm....
