And that was definitely a bad time.

I threw several times back into that same spot, and she never slapped at it again. Probably high tailed it right out of there.

I tried a Catch 5 a little after I missed that big Trout but could get a bite on it.

GHSmacker missed one he!! of a Trout Monday morning down around the pass area. A few minutes later I missed one of the biggest blowups I have had in a while. Both of these missed fish were easy 7lbers. Ony blowups we had Monday under some brutal west winds. The Trout we did catch came on plastics, not many of them but the one we did catch were solid fish. 22" range.

That's what we should have done Monday when those fish missed our tops.

I've thrown corky's in the summer and done well on them. They can be killer in the surf too, especially for the bigger fish. Just be careful and don't use them when the macks are in.

It would be great if they are carrying them again cause it would make it easier than scheduling time to go by Mr. Brown's house. Once you get there, you will be there for a while talking, but he is a great man to talk with for sure.
I agree with ya bhunter every time i go im there a while.Mr.Brown ask my friend sneakypete one time [cause sneaky buys alot of corkys i mean alot] dont you have enough lures Rick ?.Rick said now Mr.Brown you no you can never have enough lures and looks around ,well looks like you got me beat Mr.brown.
