Buying a decent yak?

Redneck pool noodles! Maybe you could chock them up with some extra foam around the frame to take the load off the middle. Or replace it with a pick-em-up truck

I tried the noodles & straps once, but it almost crushed my roof. I had a pickup, but the thing drove like a truck! I sold it and that's what paid for the new yak.
One of my neightbors just offered me an old yakima rack. It has the cross bars and towers. Looks like it could use new clips and then I can get the yak carryers.
There are a bunch of different types of kayak holders. Anybody have suggestions on the type? This is all new to me.

Probably a roller coaster saddle. That way your yaks are laying down instead of like mine, on their sides. That way, it will distribute the weight more evenly. However, that means you need a longer bar and two sets of saddles.
