  • Minor changes to my boat by Evans Marine

Brought my boat to Evans Marine for some modifications to the rig. Brian installed strip contactor leads and moved the aft starting battery to under console. He also moved trolling batteries to front compartment and installed a 2 bank onboard charger. Changed out the aft thru hole fitting to brass instead of plastic. Mounted the quick release trolling motor bracket on bow. Amsoil Synthetic oil change on motor and lower unit. Very quality workmanship. I highly recommend his marine service for any boating needs.

Why don't you have a solid batt cable from the engine to the batt. All that large buss bar is going to do is corrode with salt water.

Not going to Coorode, because it is tinned Marine Grade Copper! The reason this doesn't have a solid cable is for 2 reasons. All the accesories leads are in the rear compartment where the old battery was mounted, as well as you go price a 30' factory Start cable, and then price re-wiring all the leads to make the run from the rear compartment to the console. I'm am not a idiot, but could have a done what you suggested and added another grand to the customers bill. It's easy to spend other peoples money, I only do to my customers rig what I would do to my own.

Yep, that's another reason Bryan is darn good-he gives a darn and does it like it was HIS boat and HIS Money.

Dang wire costs that much? No wonder all the copper is gone from all our industrial buildings.

                            Boat looks solid Albert.
