    Actually Mike, mine is a 17 footer. When you're lookin' at Carolinas, there are different models. Mine is a DLX and Hydra Man's is a J model (Stands for Jon). J models are narrower with lower sides. I've become a huge fan of Carolina Skiffs with this purchase. They really are great boats. I'd be happy to take you for a ride. The CSN taxi service runs by request from the County Park dock at SLP on Saturdays, Sundays, and vacation days.

    Coachlaw just bought a really nice 16. I'm sure he'd take you for a ride. He's usually functioning as a water taxi most weekends picking up people at the dock

    Here's my two favorite toys. My Hydra-Sport 2250 the day I brought her home, and my 'baby boat', a Carolina 16. Both bought lightly used, the only way to go in my book.
