            • Got Boat?

Here's my two favorite toys. My Hydra-Sport 2250 the day I brought her home, and my 'baby boat', a Carolina 16. Both bought lightly used, the only way to go in my book.

The front of our trailer serves as a work bench in the garage lol!

                  • I have really been eyeing the carolina skiffs for my next boat. I'll have to catch a ride with one of you guys sometime and check it out. The 16 is what I have had my eye on.

Coachlaw just bought a really nice 16. I'm sure he'd take you for a ride. He's usually functioning as a water taxi most weekends picking up people at the dock
                      Shut up and FISH!!

                      • Actually Mike, mine is a 17 footer. When you're lookin' at Carolinas, there are different models. Mine is a DLX and Hydra Man's is a J model (Stands for Jon). J models are narrower with lower sides. I've become a huge fan of Carolina Skiffs with this purchase. They really are great boats. I'd be happy to take you for a ride. The CSN taxi service runs by request from the County Park dock at SLP on Saturdays, Sundays, and vacation days.

                            • I have a Carolina Skiff 258DLV I bought as a demo several years ago. It is the best boat I have ever owned. She is plenty fast with the Suzuki 150, and plenty of room to fish several people...easy on and off the trailer and easy to maintain....very stable and dry ride......

You get a lot of boat for the money with Carolina Skiff........
