For those that like to catch drum, a ex-friend of mine has been fishing the canal with gulp and mullet and has caught drum to 50lbs over the last 4 days. He is fishing on shore maybe 100 feet from the bridge.

Why are you even keeping her? Do you eat it?
Just curious, I normally release them that big, nothing against taking a trophy fish because that is what they are but I heard the meat is full of worms at that age and very tough.
Join up on the Black Drum Tournament sounds like you may win with drums that big but be careful I'll be parked there in the channel with you
