NFIC - No fish in Chocolate, i gettit - ya`ll may aswel surrender, i`m going to be fishing that place silly for the next at least 10 yrs - i know there are fish there, ive seen some (probably one of you" catching limits .......... I practice catch and release 99% of the time, i keep one for the wife - not fond of eating fish but i do love catching them.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the weightless arties!!

There has been another on here which has helped me quite a bit, he too said that there are no fish in the chocolate but still gave me a few pointers. There were so little people in the choc on Friday and Saturday it really does look like there are no fish there ...........

How about we put a map out there and lets help identify markers for dummies like me so i at least know where the bubble bridge (?) is when ya`ll talk about it or the 2004 bridge? I`ll get a nice map together real quick, please feel free to take a running copy and edit it - things boaters should be careful of and take into consideration, run offs, dangerous reefs very shallow waters etc.

Good idea? Good, i`ll send it shortly.

There are plenty of maps circulating. I wouldn't waste your time unless you want to bring it to the club meeting and ask for input. We're having one at Rogers house this weekend.

          Google Earth is your friend...

Google Earth will have everything you want to see. Chocolate Bay is shallow enough that all the reefs and spoils will show on the screen. It even shows the bubble barrier.

Academy and FTU have the maps that have been updated after Ike.The channel has spoils on both sides and most can be seen on low tide.
