Do what I did. Simply stay in the channel and watch others as they go in and out of the reefs to either side. Not to potlick but to get a clue as to routes safe to take. After a few trips of going slow and paying attention you will get the hang of it. keep an out for PVC reef markers. Always wear polarized glasses to help with reef search. Thats my 2 cents worth.

I did the same thing.
Being able to fish Chocolate with castaway300, Jocues and corndog helped me the most. I was not interested in their hot spots. I was most interested in the paths they took to get there.
Please note Chocolate is a "Green" Body of water , which means no plastic may be thrown in the waters there. Only Live bait may be used....If only I knew where you could get some.....
