We stayed way up in the bayou. The only person we came across was a major league potlicker that wanted a crack at Sonny's action.

I had a great time as well. Top water was the ticket that morning. I went back to same area last night to check out the late bite and nada.

When I was pulling the boat out of the water, I did see Cody from Lutes catch something nice with his Brutal Bait. I let him post it up and give details. Where you at Cody?

Funny chit ! I was cleaning my bait tanks and decided to drop a line off the dock. My daughter landed a nice 20" and I Landed this 28", released both. Today when my kid got home from school she wanted to fish so I had her clean my bait boxes for bait. Bwahahah What a dad !

OK gang I'll be heading out Saturday for sure and maybe Friday afternoon. Gonna hit the local spots and see what up. I did find trout last week after several drifts and they seem to form a line where I marked them on the GPS. I am going to drift that line or structure again and see if the are still there. I'll then head up the bayou to try and find some flatties. I will also work some of the drains too. Will try any plastic that looks like a minnow or purple and chartuese. They seemed to be hitting that really hard last weekend. Whos heading out and what are your tactics? See ya out there!!

I hope to be fishing the last Lutes tournament this Saturday. I can't seem to catch fish while entered in the tournament. I hope to break my dry spell.

My only game plan is to show up with coffee and not wait for it be made at the marina. That should give me twenty minute head start. Right Brad?
