Looks like half of FWE is going to be in chocolate this weekend :P
Word....I'm lookin forward to it!!!! That is if me and buoy can catch up to corndogs marshall lol maybe we will tie the flats boat on the back and let him tow us around while we troll rattle traps and limit out while sippin some brewha's....
FISH OUUUNNN!!!!!!
I set my hook like I am fishing for tuna even if I am fishing for trout. Call me tuna Joe!
Buoy put us on some fish early as well. We (mainly I) fished from about 7:30-9 am and mr. Buoy toured me around chocolate the rest of the time showing me a few good places. We had a good time and after the wind kicked up early on decided to just tour it and drive around. He let me steal the spotlight for a while and get the best outta tha bayou. Didn't wanna post up another report because yall got a 6 page thread goin here lol. Mad props to buoy for putting us on the fish and cruising me up to the shoreline so I could sight cast lol - awesome guy! Putting people on fish is the hard part (and the fun part!)...I was just doin the reelin in! I told him probably 3 times that it doesn't take a genius to work a top water but it takes someone very experienced to put us in spots like he did. In the few casts he made he ended up catching a flounder between 15-18" or it appeared. Buoy was making a trip to Louisiana and had to get out early so we decided to cut it short.
Ended up with 6 trout and 1 red all on the skitterwalk from 730-9. 2 were too small but took a few home so the pops could eat dinner or I would have been content with releasing! Lots of blowups every 3-4 casts it seemed. Thanks again Jason!!!

I had a great time as well. Top water was the ticket that morning. I went back to same area last night to check out the late bite and nada.
When I was pulling the boat out of the water, I did see Cody from Lutes catch something nice with his Brutal Bait. I let him post it up and give details. Where you at Cody?
Heres a pic of the catch!! Had a blast that day. 13 plus hours on the water had to grind it out. Reeltime looked like 3 miles of bad road after we where done (he was up all night before). As for Jhua I think he would have stayed out until the next day or until he had to go back to school that dude likes to fish!!
