Coe when I take my boat out I don't bring Jack. Don't need to be running up on a reef or doing something stupid. Now when I am in someone else's boat I bring J&C for sure.

On rods that it wont stick, I take some scotch tape and wrap it a little over 15, 20 and under on 28, with two wraps of tape-one above 15" for instance and one at 15 1/4", then paint liquid paper or white out on the place, let dry, remove tape and you have nice looking markers for the lengths.

Good idea. I think the measure tape would work with the spiral.

Rodrul-r

Gents, there are Rodrul-rs at Academy that are 30" long. I invented them 20 years ago. I still have rods with 20 year old Rodrul-rs on them.

Great inventing the rodrul-rs-I use them on all they'll stick to-couldn't remember the exact nam in my post, but ya did great inventing them!! I've given a lot of my fishing buddies some for their rods. Great product.
