My brother was visiting this weekend so we left for the North shoreline before dawn and set up a drift along a grass line toward a finger reef. A while later a big catamaran with twin Hondas pulls in front of our drift and anchors on top of the reef. Too guys get out and start soaking their croakers.......
I caught a couple of trout as we drifted by and came in for breakfast.

It is what it is. If this were a golf club and someone showed up with a new clubcar parked it on the putting green and proceeded to putt, someone would tell them the rules and they would learn. This ain't golf.
This is the first time that I have ever heard of a twin screw bay boat. Whats up with that?

I think alot of the times folks may not understand that you are drift fishing OR the direction of your drift...They may just think that there are a couple of dudes floating around (there are plenty of them) and they beat you to the reef that you didnt know was there.

Speaking of which, 2 weeks ago I went to a mid bay reef and some mother *&**e#* pulls up, anchors 20 yds behind me w/ kids in intertubes and they get on jet skies and do circles around me. That was a blast!

Yeah, you're probably right, but that still doesn't explain anchoring on top off the reef, then wading ten feet from the boat and start casting.

You could ease over and share your knowledge with them before heading in. Might make them a better boater, and in this case, club member.
