My wife(Nancy) and I went to fish the causway last night.We fished from dark till midnight,using glow DOA's, and glow/red Bass Assigns.We kept 6 trout 16/19".We had about 20 or so shorts 14/14.5"..All said it was fun.and a few good fish dinners in the making. I used my trolling motor to fish the down current end of the pilings.It seems that the fish were mostly hanging near # 3,4,7 last night.They are where you find them.

I have not fished the lights since the bridge was built. I have always thought it might be good but never tried. Thanks for the info.

Thanks to all that replied. I have not been having much luck lately,so it was good to stick a few keepers. I have been fishing The diversenary canal(my back yard), Jones lake,and Moses lake.It has been slow to say the least. I have been fishing the Causway for over 20 years,but this is the first time we fished the new bridge,and man is it light up at night. The best time to fish it is when there is a very light tide. As long as it is moving,it does not matter if it is in,or out.If the tide is strong,the fish will only bite at the tide change.
