  • South Shore Line on a Storm Saturday

Fished the South shoreline near the State Park on Saturday before the storms. Found some good water and bait and decided to make a drift. I had seen a bunch of jelly fish (long tentacles) and only had shorts so didn't feel like getting stung. My first cast on a top water had it getting hit the entire way back. Landed one on top water first cast.

I put out the stake out stick and jumped up on top of the poling platform to have a look. Saw some bait and reds working so I jumped down and tossed on a soft plastic and slacked off the rope a little to get a better angle.

Got a rat red that was feeding in the grass with that cast, I tore up the TTF killer red trying to get the hook out revived her and off she went.

Grabbed my last soft plastic (gulp) and must have caught 10 trout just sitting there all good size nothing spectacular or anything, I snapped a shot of this girl.
